• For contractors: company name, service area, services offered, experience, and license or insurance documentation
• Messages you send through the contact form

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Match homeowners with local contractors for the work they need done
• Respond to your inquiries and requests
• Send you a confirmation when you submit a form, and follow-up communication about your submission
• Operate, maintain, and improve the platform

How we share your information

We share information only as needed to operate the platform:

• With contractors we connect you with, when you submit a project or odd job
• With service providers who help us run the platform (email delivery, file hosting, database, web hosting). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to handle your data securely
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights

We do not sell your information to third parties.

How your information is stored

Form submissions are stored in our database (Supabase). Files you upload are stored with our media provider (Cloudinary). Email delivery is handled through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit.

How long we keep your information

We retain submissions for as long as necessary to provide the service and follow up with you, and to comply with our legal obligations. You can request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.

Your choices and rights

You can request to access, update, or delete the information you have shared with us by reaching out through our contact page. If you no longer want to be contacted about a submission, let us know and we will remove your information.

Children's privacy

JobSandbox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through the site.
